Langkawi Beach Indulgence

Welcome to Malaysia ! Upon arrival at Langkawi International Airport, transfer to your resort and check in.

Enjoy an early breakfast before meeting your driver at 9am for the start of your Caves and Mangroves Discovery Tour. Hop on Explorer Boat for a ride along the coastal river to explore the mangrove forest. Experience the breath-taking scenery as we wind along the main river and enter into smaller tributaries (tide level permitting) for an up-close viewing of the flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem. Watch eagles, kites fly overhead in their natural habitat. There will be a beach stop for a swim; tide level permitting and plenty of photo taking opportunities. Ending the trip for lunch in a floating restaurant. Around 2 pm, return to your resort, the balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy your beach stay.

Another day of adventure is on the cards today. After breakfast, your driver-guide will meet you at your hotel around 9am for your insight of the legendary Langkawi tour. A fascinating tour that will take you through the urban and rural areas of legendary Langkawi. The journey begins with a visit to a showcase of local cottage industry where you will witness that process of traditional batik painting using wax and dyes. Proceed to Makam Mahsuri where the legendary Mahsuri is laid to rest in a garden of traditional Malays House. Go up the second highest mountain in a cable ride (cable car ticket not included) and get a bird's eye view of the island. Visit the Rice Garden, one of Langkawi’s eco-tourism attractions, which is definitely not something you will expect to see in an island like Langkawi. Here, you will be able to see a long stretch of paddy field, infusing senses of freshness and at the same time, brings you closer to nature. Apart from merely looking at the green paddy, visitors will also get to learn more about their specific species as those paddies are being named accordingly. Besides, scarecrows are also being placed in the middle of the field in order to make the scenery look more like the actual one. Return to the resort for some downtime and afternoon at leisure.

Your short journey ends today and after breakfast and check out, you will be transferred to the Langkawi International Airport for your onward journey.
